- This is a detailed critique of Day’s article (and of others, by extension) that defends a Megiddo understanding of the term “Armageddon.” Jauhainen connects the term to Isaiah 14:12 by a means other than transliteration of har moʿed, the approach taken in the chapter. Instead, he plays off the verb gdʿ (גדע). This approach is conceptually compatible with the one espoused in The Unseen World.
